Painting Booth
What is a Painting Booth?
Equipment that is used to paint the exterior of restored vehicle after damage by plating and sanding, it is of closed structure to reduce influence of draft and foreign substance contact prevention such as dust. Generally, it is of structure that can heat process for quality increase of painting.
Work Order
Main Structure of Painting Booth
Main Structure of Painting Booth
-
- - Painting booth: closed location to paint plated vehicle and heat processing
- - Purifying device: emission of harmful materials occurred during painting and air purifying device
- - Painting equipment: spray type paint using compressed air is mainly conducted and spray gun is used
- - Compound room: location that compounds paint and diluents with a constant ratio
- - Heat wind device: maintain appropriate temperature by entering heat wind within the booth through electric heater (200 degrees) or bunker C oil burner (300 degrees).
Safe Operation of Painting Booth
-
Main Danger Factors
- Stricture Danger
- Structure due to vehicle breakaway when plated vehicle is moved using mobile courtesy car
- Structure at power transfer part (v-belt) of air purifying device - Conduction Danger
- Conduction of tripping on the exhaust pipe due to the grating structure
- Explosion Danger
- Explosion due to steam or inflammable gas of flammable gas
- Organic Solvent Addiction
- Organic solvent (toluene etc.) addiction used as diluents of paint
- Stricture Danger
-
Safety Measures
- Narrowness Danger
- Using sheet metal vehicle transportation equipment that can move safely by supporting panel on the car, attach an exclusive jig
- Installation of sufficient strength protection in the power delivery part (V-belt) - Conductivity Danger
- Structure the grating opening interval of the painting booth floor so that the feet do not go in
- Explosion Danger
- Use explosion resistance structure use electric equipment that uses paint booth’s installed electric equipment (switch, lamp, plug) in the first type explosion resistance region
- Organic Solvent Addiction
- Remove the organic solvent (toluene etc.) using the local exhaust device so that it does not remain in the painting booth
- The spray worker within the painting booth must wear a gas mask
- Narrowness Danger

Micropore Structure of Absorbent
-
-
- - Although charcoal only absorbs moisture if there is moisture in the mixed gas, if there is no moisture, it absorbs organic and inorganic gas.
- - Alumina and bauxite is all used for dehydration (moisture removal).
